The C.D. Wright Writers Conference
will be held November 13-14, 2026
The C.D. Wright Writers Conference focuses on writers from all genres and all experience levels, from journalism to mass market books to literary endeavors, and beyond. Our goal is to provide a space for camaraderie, connection-making, and inspiration.
While many people stepped up to support our goals in creating the conference, we are indebted, especially, to Forrest Gander, C. D. Wright's husband, for granting us permission to honor her memory by naming our conference after her, and to Nan Snow, writer and former UCA Foundation Board member, who brought the idea of hosting this conference to us in the first place.
